Hi guys. I've been messing with this part for days, researched it, used AI etc. it's driving me nuts. It's for my Zimimodel Stryker 1296 1/35 kit. Directions are awful-obviously. I'm showing pics of the parts and the size of d72 and orientation is what I'm not understanding. Pe is folded into a hood. The shape it is right now the bottom tabs line up with two spots-a slot and a raised line of plastic so it seems this is correct shape and placement for the hood. From the pic I pulled off the internet it looks to me like d72 lies on the sloped plate- slope to slope and then the smaller width plastic piece with the three circles sits on top. The problem is the width of d72. I'm thinking about cutting it down to fit but wanted to see if anyone is catching something obvious that I am having a mental block with.

I don't think D72 is a part to glue to the model, but rather, it's a jig to bend PE10 into the correct shape.

D72 is a jig for bending part PE10 into shape, this then (PE10) fits between the sides of part PE6 which you should have already folded. The small 'legs' of PE10 fit under the lip of PE6.
And part D68 fits inside so that you can see the 'lens' (three circles) throuth the opening on part PE6. As in the photo of the real vehicle.
