Old kit from ebay UK, all parts still sealed in bags!

It just took a few days to build but the decals were something else! I can't tell from the box or instruction sheet the age of the kit but it was old! The decal sheet was hard cardboard with a clear plastic film on it! So I had to cut out every decal carefully around each one, soaking in warm water for a short time, but that would leave each one with no adhesive to lay them on the model! So I tried Revell windscreen clear glue which seemed to work but held on with marking tape until dry. One side of the largest decal is fine but the other looks as it had a few scuffs during a long race!
