yes guys ive always wanted a workin COMBINE MODEL an was goin to scratch build one but out of the blue i now see that they are sellin a workin combine so ive taken the pluge an bought one an boy will it take some buildin as its a 1/17 scale model with 7 motors an 2 R/C BOXES in it an over 4 an a half thousand parts an the instruckion booklet is over 327 pages long SO WHEATHER I CAN BUILD IT ONLY TIME WILL TELL OH BOY an a pic of its box of the model

YES Jakko 327 pages of instruckions in 2 books but i wont try an start this build till ive built my other model kits

Didn't even know such a kit existed! When you start I will follow for sure... my mom was a pioneering working mom, worked as a translator from home in the 1960s! Yup, for Sperry New Holland farm equipment, for 30 some years.
So growing up there were always manuals for combines, tractors, manure spreaders, tractors, threshers, you name it! The best part for us kids was her early fax machine, the size of the kitchen table, that burned text onto the page!

HI Barly yes this kit only came out last yr so not many people know about it i just happened to see it mentioned on the computer news as they advertize these an other kits but for me ive always been fasinated by all the working parts on a combine as when i was a kid they were then just comin out instead of the old fashion binder an i used to ride around with a freind who was the driver so when i see this i bought it straight away but wheather i will be able to build it is another matter as it says on the box side a very complex build an level of difficulty is very high so i will build my other kits firstly before i try an start this an your mom did very well to compete in this job well done her

Now I know that, I also see it in the photo on the box top, but I hadn't realised it before.

Oddly, videos of the real one seem to only be made in Russia.

HI Jakko yes it is sort of a lego make but it all works an it looks a good qaulity model just a pity that the vid was not in english so i could understand what the chap was sayin an i dont think the kit is made in russia but a nice kit all the same but wheather i can build it i just dont know as it looks very complex in the instruckions

an HI Pantherman well i bought mine 40 quid cheaper than the MRP so yes just a little more than 30 quid lol an yes its a very SERIOUS KIT AS IT ALL WORKS by R/C

HI Aya yes its goin to take some building as when i first see it on the web i thought can i build it as it says on the box that this is a very complex model an very hard to build but i thought if i dont buy it i will regret it as ive been wanting a full workin combine since i was a kid as i was always up the harvest feild followin the combines around an sometime was rideing on them as they were very slow as these combines had only just came out in the early 60's an i was so fasinated with all the belts an wheels goin around an i thought then i would love to build one but back then i was still building small 1/72 scale planes so i would not have had a chance as hardley any modeling knowloge then
BUT THE BUILD OF THIS WONT HAPPEN FOR A FEW YRS IM AFRAID AS GOT OTHER MODELS TO BUILD FIRSTLY

...when I look at my stash, besides other enjoyable aspects of life and family, it is nice to think there is something else that is fun and waiting for me to do!
My grandpa lived to 99, and I never knew him not to have some interesting project, however small, waiting around the corner!
