Good enough?

I did the silver paint trick. Seems to have worked pretty well. I reputtied and primed. Looks like I got the majority of the seam. Just hoping I could get your opinions.

Looks good to me ... but if you are concerned with the ghosting and texture difference you could use a another coat of primer and wet sand it with 600-1000 grit sandpaper. Just my .02

From what I could make out in the video, I'd say you're likely good enough.

I would give it a primer coat and take a look that way. Primer can bring out any imperfections in the finish that you can't find with your fingers when you give it a feel.

Also that model is suppose to be copper in color, so with metallic paint I would give her a primer coat. Imperfections will show in that kind of paint.

The model is from the 1963 movie War of the Worlds. It is the Martian war machine.
