Up until now i've been using Winsor/Newton oils and MIG products to weather my models and thought it was maybe time to get on a new horse in order to keep it fresh.
I haven't bought anything for the last three months and the allowance kitty had built up to a tidy sum.
To keep the money from burning a hole in my pocket or the wife thinking she needed a new outfit I used it to buy some of the new AK products and the 502 oils that i've never tried.

The builds these will be used on are posted in the "Armor" section so if you're interested keep an eye out over there.

Haggistom you bet I get an allowance. I worked for 54 years to get that retirement so
I insisted I get a share of it.
The negotiations got a little heated but I won my case.

I'm cheap, er, I mean, frugal. I use a $10 set of artist pastel chalks in earth tones for weathering.

I want to give some oils a try myself. Gonna keep my eyes on this. Thanks for sharing.
