Here is a soft vinyl model kit I've finished lately. It was a surprisingly quick and easy process...
It's a mecha from Secret Blue Water, Nadia, the first animated TV Series from Studio Gainax (1989).
The Glatank is a steampunk Tank on WHeeles that can transform into a baloon or even a boat, controled by an evil trio lead by Gladys.
Is here in wheel mode. The Kit in 1/35 scale.
It's the original and genuine stuff, bought 20 years ago, in France...

The parts...
The parts are washed with soap, dried and then I can spray can some black paint first...
It's not very detailed, even for soft vinyl, but we will upgrade it later...
Everything but the wheeles will now receive a base coat of white skull. It will make some kind of Pre-shading coat, very useful with the orange and red paint that I will put on it with simple brushes. Fun fact : i've got every colors needed with Citadel colors.
Let's cut the soft vinyl excess and glue parts.

One of the few things I'll modify : the lights, with jewelry and clear parts from a car...
I'll add some ldder like in the illustration. And make small holes to simulate rivets on the panels.
