Hi guys. This is the new Gillman bust from Collapse Industries. It was sculpted by Mikkel Fradsen and cast by Kirk Kirkland. The casting was fantastic and the detail has to be seen to be believed. They are newly available on their webpage: http://www.collapseindustries.com/ Highly recommended.
I had a lot of fun with this guy. I wanted to give him some character and i also wanted to make sure my paintjob did not go muddy. I used a lot of mottling in the skin tones and there are a bunch of greens, grays and browns in there. I also saw how some fish have the lighter belly and mouth area so i used my interpretation of this to make him a bit different. I would love you hear your thoughts. Thanks guys.
