Future formulation in US

I know that the formulation for Future was changed and rendered it almost unusable in the rest of the world, I thought that we had kept the formulation the same in the US. It looks like that may not be the case any more. Was talking to a friend the other day, and he told me that he had recently bought a bottle of Future since his old one ran out. When he went to spray a coat of Future (something he's done hundreds of times), he said it went down okay, but when it dried, it was all cracked. He removed it all with isopropyl alcohol and reshot the coating, thinking he had done something to screw up the first attempt. Still got cracking and shrinking on the second attempt.

Has anyone else had an experience like this with a recently purchased bottle of Future? My supply of the old formula is still going, so I have not seen this happen.
