FS-595a Color chart book, IPMS color cross-reference

I have a copy of some fairly hard-to-get publications, and I'm seeking advice. They were pretty expensive to buy, and while I believe them to be valuable, I'd like to know if this is still the case. The main book is the Federal Standard 595a color reference from 1984 with all the pages included. I also have the IPMS Collor Cross-Reference Guide by Klaus. These have been sitting on my shelf for several years now. I'd like to sell them, but I have no idea what an appropriate price should be. Any suggestions? I cannot answer your questions personally, frankly I think book-references are being replaced by online databases and websites, but, there's this...

The FS 595 book has real colour chips, right? Actual paint, rather than printed? I would imagine a good number of modellers wouldn't owning that. (If you weren't on the other side of the Atlantic I would offer to buy it from you right now, but paying you a reasonable price plus postage would make it extremely expensive )

That's correct, real painted color chips. CMYK halftones, online displays, inkjet prints, etc. just don't work in this kind of book.

You're right, I shoulda checked eBay... there's a copy of FS595a there right now for $25, no sale after four auctions. Can't remember exactly what I paid, but it was prob. around three times that. Oh well.
