This is a real oldie. Italeri made this set. Really stiff, straight poses. Did some minor
conversion to show a running gait. Added some equip from spares. Also added electrical tape "straps"
to figure. Painted with Vallejo acrylics. Base is sand covered styrofoam. Added Brit helmut and
Bren gun, and post with barb wire.
Any comments, pointers, and critiques are welcomed.

Panzerman,

Great job moding a crappy figure. Cool subject too don't see to many I-talions runnin around.

Thank you, Panzerace007 & Rentar1. I enjoy taking an old figure that many would
pass by and try to bring it up to a more modern standard. Also, it's such a esoteric subject
that by that very reason its worth building.
Much appreciated, Bill.

Very nice figure, in a little & effective vignette, Panzerman... :)

Italian camo colors are very striking, they combine very well with the pants color of the figure.

It is not very common to see italian subjects around! This is a lil´ nice surprise!
Cheers
RG

Thanks, Jelly, I appreciate the kind words.
Also, I agree, we need to see more Italians, and even Japanese for that matter.
You go to a model show and there are 20 Shermans and Tiger tanks, but hardly
any Semoventes or Chi Ha tanks.
See you in the forum......................Bill.

I definitely agree with this PZman... they are an enormous and under-exploited subject in the modelling world. It is a real mistery to me... ::) ??? I hope that this gap will be filled progressively...
See you ;)
