Folks in Central Texas pray for a TD or even a full blown Hurricane to hit the Texas shore. Mainly Ranchers and farmers, but also general landowners who only have cattle/deer leases.
It does not mean we hate our friends and family who choose to live 20 feet above seal level (sorry @Jakko) , but that is/was their choice.

I'd love to live on the coast! But, it would be a special construction home. It blows my mind that we have proven "hurricane proof" home designs but we keep putting up the same houses that hurricanes love to destroy.
