Hi every one!
Just wanted to share with you my contest entry it’s Fiat Abarth 695SS made by Tamiya (item # 24173) in 1/24 scale. It's my first model of a car that I built and it's second ever (1st one is here: http://www.scalemodeladdict.com/forum/index.php/topic,2412.0.html). I've made some modifications like cut open grill above the engine, added ignition cables, changed wheels to ones from Toyota Hilux (Aoshima), front seats are from Nissan Skyline (Tamiya), wipers and interior mirror are from Lotus super 7 (Tamiya). I also printed custom made sakura flower decals. Chrome parts were cleaned and then I used Kosute Gin-San (Wave) to give them that metallic look. Entire body was painted with Tamiya's TS-41 and after decals it was clear coated with Mr. Super Clear Gloss.
All comments are more than welcome.
Cheers
Karolina.
