This is an exciting new tool. What I really want is a Ventura. So do I grab this and modify it? Or wait for a different boxing?

You can either wait for 5 years for a Ventura that never is released or buy this and spend huge amounts of time and effort to convert it to a Ventura so that a Ventura boxing will come out a week after you're done. Your choice.

If you want a Ventura, I recommend the Revell kit-really, it's Monogram-in 1/48 from about 10 years ago. It's a nice kit and builds into a reasonably accurate model of the Ventura.

I had my eye on that one and I like the octopus markings. I feel like it was hard to find but maybe I will look again.

Welp, I found the Revell 2011 boxing at a reasonable price on eBay. Made a reasonable offer, and it is on it's way to me.
