Thanks guys! I'm glad you all like her! This model can really fool you into thinking she's much bigger than she is when you she's in "space" with her lights on.

Daedalus

The first Daedalus class ship launched 2 years earlier in the timeline of this image. 

I have to say I felt a little wistful when I finished the "Daedalus" composite. 

The Columbia class, of which the Enterprise NX refit was the first, for all it's achievements, would eventually be phased out and replaced by the Daedalus class, the first warp 6 ship.

Some 90 years later we would come full circle with the Daedalus class being replaced by the Constitution class. 

Then a new Enterprise would again rise to it's rightful position as the flagship of the fleet.
