Well, I couldn't resist the temptation and I'm off work this week so I got stuck right in!
I often find the hardest thing when doing rusty wrecks is planning out what will be wrecked. I started by marking out which window I wnated to have been broken and cutting it out

Then looking at reference photos I noticed there is a strange window tinting thing going on, where the top and bottom of the side windows are tinted with a clear strip through the middle, except for on the front screen.
I masked off the inside with a strip of Tamiya tape and masked the outside screen too.

Then I sprayed with thinned black acrylic

The interior detail left a little too be desired, so I cut off the molded on cables, drilled apertures and replaced them with bent plastic rod, as well as adding a few little extras to liven it up a bit

Also another disappointing thing with the kit is that there were no decals for the interior, even though on reference pictures there were tons of dials and buttons. I went through the stash of decals and found some to suit.

And with the top and glass in

Also I wnated to make the tyres flat, so as they are hollow I glued the inside of the sidewall to the bottom of the tyre with CA glue and clamped them till dry:

I must admit I'm having tons of fun! tTanks for looking
