I hadn't realized how long it's been since I posted an update to this WIP post.  I've been super busy with work and personal life (But who hasn't), and the Falcon has suffered as a result.  I've been really working my butt off for the last few weeks on getting some lighting done, and have now completed the engine sub-assembly and am returning to the remaining build of the kit.  When I have everythng ready to go, I'm going to be adding landing and clearance lights to the model, and will post an update when I have that done.  Hopefully that won't take me another three months.


Does anyone have any suggestions as to what I should use to mask the LEDs on the hull when I start painting the model?  I was thinking of using liquid mask, but I'm not sure how that will work with the arylic paints I plan on using for the ship?
