Greetings.

I haven't built much in the last little due to work commitments and lack of space to display my finished models. (I have about +400 Kits down in the basement!!)

This is the Revell Airbus A319 British Airways Kit finished in the special Germanwings Park Inn scheme. I like interesting airliner schemes and saw this one on Airliners.Net and thought I would take a crack at it.
Used Golden Acrylics Paints available from my local art store for the checkboard Green, Red, Ochre and Blue colours. The paint is thick and comes in small squeezable bottles, but airbrushes nicely when thinned with it's own thinner. I used a combination of Model Master Enamels, Humbrol & Polly Scale Railroad paints for the rest of the plane. The scheme was simple, but time consuming to measure out, this took 1 1/2 Months to paint. The squares are 1.0 cm x 1.0cm, not easy to measure out on a small kit.

I enjoyed this kit, I might enter it in the Hamilton Heritage Model show in March

Thanks...
