Bubblegum Crisis Priss sofubi figure by Zero Creative Works

I'm working on a Bubblegum Crisis sofubi figure of Priss. She comes with both her head and a helmeted head, and I've employed magnets to help make the heads swappable. She also has both a regular, gloved right hand as well as her cannon arm. As always, I have used V-Color sofubi paints as well as Mr. Hobby's new Sofubi Color paints. The beautiful metallic blue is a mixture of clear blue, silver and gloss blue. Last night I finished painting her eyes with acrylics. She has red eyes. I added a bit of white to one side to give her irises two tones, then painted the pupils, and finally the light spots.

Thanks guys! Yesterday I finished the final assembly. I had some superglue run down her armored buttcrack but fortuntely I was able to wipe it away with a towel before it ruined anything. Barely noticeable. Next I will prepare the base.

The base is now complete.


I sanded the wooden plaque down, painted it gloss black, painted it silver, did a gloss coat, then applied a custom decal I made with Fine Molds decal paper with the laser printer at work. After that, I did another gloss coat. I'm gonna get out my light box and do a photoset of this kit to upload to my Tumblr feed. I'll come back with a link when that's finished.
