One thing I will only rarely complain about with Bandai kits.
Looks VERY well detailed for that size

.
Really loving this Pagoda Mast .

Just have to enjoy good engineering and attention to detail. I only have a big Yamato so far from the series but the detail and parts engineering like you see here on this kit is impressive.

That molding requires some seriously articulated mold sections .
Most Impressive !

... and they do it OVER and OVER and OVER with those molds ...

So I might do this like the last one : Tamiya rattle-can primer then the brass base-coat -- then colors ... OR , maybe Stynylrez primer in " metal " which is silver , then the color-coats after that .... we'll see

LOL -- I just " discovered " these kits the other day when I was vacuuming under one of the work-benches that has a pile of kits backed up to it .
Totally forgot about them .
They're definitely the most modeling you'll get for the money !

Liking those colors! How did you get such nice coverage on the back sides of some of those features with a ratle can no less?

Not rattle-can .
The primer is Stynylrez in " metal " ( silver )
I'm exploring some crazy chit right now with these Auto-Air Colors . - It's all airbrush .
....some of them have no binder ,, just finding this out !! .
I went to their website but they don't wanna tell you much .
Anyways -- these " paints " ( actually colors ) are very much what I want from transparent coatings . BUT , It would be nice if the manufacturer would tell you what the F it is .
