Any good jigs/tricks for missile fins?

I've typically built missiles just by hand positioning and eyeballing the fins into a perpendicular arrangement. I was wondering if anyone has come up with a good design for a jig that would hold all four in position for cementing, similar to an arrow fletching jig, but much smaller. I'm working on an F-4 that has 8 missiles with 8 fins each, so one at a time might take a while.

I've never needed to do that but seems the easiest route would be to glue 4 small square blocks to a base sheet leaving that X between them the thickness of the fins , with the clearance for the missile body at the center -- or drill the center of that arrangement for the missile tube to fit .
The blocks being tall enough to ensure they capture the fins ( and tall enough to hold the tube perpendicular to the base sheet ), , or with the drilled center hole the missile tube can project thru so it wouldn't matter how far from each end the fins are .
You may or may not need a stop beneath the hole to take the mass of the tube and prevent the fins from rotating out .Prob not if you let the solvent set for 1/2 minute prior to inserting the thing into the jig .

Glue the 4 fins on the respective end and set the assembly into the jig until set .

Take a section of 1x1 wood (or 2x2 if you wish) and cut a thin channel with a bandsaw. If the block is 10-inches long, and you are doing the 3-6-9 o'clock positions at once, you should be able to do 6-8 1/48 sidewinders at a time. Of course you're not done, the vertical one needs to be done as well, so one more session to complete.
