Paintup of the Forge World resin Avatar of Khaine from Warhammer 40,000.
I picked this up off of Ebay, and needed to reattach the sword blade and pommel.
The miniature was already primered in black, so I started from there

Gave the main body a base coat of a dark yellow to start setting up the 'molten' look for the undersuit

Painted the 'mane' in with the same yellow I'd used previously. Gave that a wash of sepia for detail.
Painted in the flame details on the loin cloth.
Gave some of the plates and other details a coat of transparent black to set them off from the rest

I went in this weekend and added the one thing this guy was missing: the Craftworld glyph on his loincloth
It was from a sheet I'd made a LONG time ago, but finally tracked down.
The glyph was designed in PSP and printed onto white decal paper.
Micro Sol and Micro Set got it to hug the details of the loincloth.
The design is a merging of the Alaitoc and Ulthwe' craftworld emblems
