That Gentleman was really a professional, humanized soldier.

There´s a similar history involving IJN ace Saburo Sakai, with a DC-3, over Borneo, during the early stages of WWII in the Pacific T.O.

Oh man. You hear stories about WWI pilots meeting enemy pilots they had just shot down and buying them drinks, etc...but something like this from WWII....simply amazing! Two exceptional men.....

Okay, just finished this book.

Amazing..
Brings a whole new dimension to what goes through someones mind when theyre in exceptional situations such as this one.

Hopefully someone from the SMA family will make this into an amazing diorama.
I certainly dont have the skills to reproduce battle damage like this B-17 suffered
