A month or so ago, Round 2 did a video showing off some of their 'new' kits, re-releases and new tools. None of them were Star Trek. Now I understand it may take some time for planning, tooling, etc, but I feel like the license is getting wasted with Round 2. They've said in the past that they're a small company and don't have the money to do a lot of new tooling, hence the endless repops, but I see them doing new Space 1999 and automotive kits regularly. I can only buy the same kit so many times, and its not like they don't have plenty of options for subjects! I know there might be endless excuses for why they can't do this subject or that, popularity, screen time, etc.

I want a company who cares enough about the Trek license to take some chances, have some creativity, have some passion and not make endless excuses for why they can't use the license they're paying for, and not one who only produces one new kit every few years.

I'd like to see the agreements with each of those brands . The specific permissions and fees .
That ain't happening ;)

They've yet to release a 1:350 USS Reliant, which I am sure there is a demand for. Instead they've done models for these recent mediocre Trek shows. I think it would be great if they could redesign a brand new, more accurate 1:537 Enterprise since that scale is great and not as huge as the 350 ones. How about a 1:537 Stargazer?

They said that the molds to the MPC Shuttle Tyderium from Star Wars is gone. I'm sure they would do well to make a new one, but what did they say? "Let's make a shuttle from that one cartoon that nobody's seen and if that sells well, then we'll do one for the iconic ship from ROTJ that everyone knows. Uh, hello?
