Next on the bench is this fully 3D printed kit from ARMA Models. I have used 3D parts but never built a completely 3D printed kit before so I thought this would be a good one to start with.
The parts in their cages, and the kit also comes with a useful decal sheet.
One wint trailing edge had a chip missing so that was fixed with a piece of sheet plastic and a drop of super glue.
A few minutes of sanding got it to good as new.
I added the tail pieces, the fit was reasonably good, though a bit of putty was needed. Not too bad though.
On to the wings next, they too fit pretty good, took a little bit of tweaking, but nothing too serious. The joints will need a bit of putty, but nothing outrageous, so happy about that.
The kit is going together really decently, I was not sure what to expect but so far this is being a nice little project.
