1/35 Panzer IV E track question???

Hey guys i have a question and its driving me mad. Last week I picked up a Dragon Panzer IV E kit which is a sweet kit, but here is my delemia i hate magic tracks and i want to get the modelkasten tracks for it BUT i dont know if it is the 36cm tracks or the 38cm tracks so if anyone can help me i would reallyt appreciate it thanks guys.

If the Ausf F went to 40 cm, then the Ausf E should have had the 38 cm ones... definitely not the 36 cm kit...

Damn I can´t find my "Pz. IV in action"

What I don´t know is WICH Modelkasten Pz IV kit is the one you need...

Literally, from the book / article: "Modelling the Panzer IV Ausf.E" by Tom Cockle:

Early on in the project, I decided to use the new Model Kasten SK-57 38cm workabletracks. Apparently, we have been misled all these years believing that the Panzer IV ever used a 36cm track as was previously espoused in the Achtung Panzer book on the Panzer IV and Walter Spielberger’s "Panzerkampfwagen IV Und Seine Abarten". More current research by TomJentz in his Panzer Tracts No.4 reveals the truth that only 38cm and 40cm tracks wereever fitted to Panzer IV’s.
