    Taking the plunge on the Falcon...

    A little more progress on the Hasbro Falcon this evening, cut out the top turret windows, exhaust vents, and the portion of the back end where the blue lighting will go. not much, but at least its progress. I need to stock up on styrene tidbits and sheets to start on the greeblies etc.

    The odd thing about the polypropolene is that its very easy to cut...but man it is a bear to try to get it smooth by sanding if your trying to square edges up. When you sand it you get little fibers sticking up everywhere. Filing seems to help cut them down, but i found the best way to do it is...
