Hooray found some time today to work on the Y-Wing. I am still putting together the fuselage. I'm having so much fun constructing this model, the detail of the parts is quite incredible. Some parts are so tiny I need tweezers to attach them to the ship. WIP shots in photobucket...

I'm so glad you're doing this. The Halo figurines sold off the shelf don't do justice to the incredible graphics of the Halo games, animation and graphic novels. It's really great to see Master Chief looking as he should :)

The air brushing and paint work on the raider is wonderful! I really admire the pershading work it has added great depth and detailing.

I just love this project! Can't wait to see it finished and lit up. It'll be epic.

Sorry I haven't posted for quite some time. I've gotten side tracked by a small craft project (felt creature called Tim) and by meeting a local artist which got me back into painting. Both of my latest projects are up in photobucket (in albums titled Craft Work & Canvas Painting) but no new WIP...

Thank you :) it's so nice to get feedback particularly when it's positive lol! What I would like to do now with the Y-Wing is create a dio themed around the idea of repair and salvage. Thus, although I trashed good the lower part of the cockpit I can still use this piece in the dio as it fits...

Thank you guys :) I'm actually thinking about abandoning this build and going for a different theme with the Y-Wing in part because I don't really think I can continue to destroy such wonderful kit. I will ponder things a little more and get back soon.

Ohh! I love all these Wall-e(s) ^_^ I really like how the paint work was done to enhance the soulfulness of Wall-e. terrific display bases as well.
