Hi im new to this forum but if your interested this site http://www.qrp.pops.net/LEDs.asp has a basic "knight rider" circuit that may help. It maybe a bit big for the cylon raider head, but that can be overcome with fibre optics run from where ever you put the module. hope this helps :)
