    VT-34 technical support tank - Zvezda/Aires 1/35

Looks fantastic. Nice color modulation on the green. A respectful suggestion: I would get some metal effects on the blade. It would be clean from scraping (digging into the earth, or rusty from being scraped and then exposed to the weather. I wish my projects look this good. Cheers, Bill

    Chevrolet CWT15

Re: Cevrolet CWT15 Thanks guys! :D I thought that I was just a"tank" guy, but I'm getting into these wheeled things. (especially these funky English trucks!) Zappa: The "dust" on the windows (and all over) is a VERY diluted Tamiya acrylic sprayed very lightly (Deck tan, or Buff color). I...

Looking good spud. I have the Cyber Hoby version in the box (no photoetch or metal barrel :'(), so I'll be watching. Leave the boxes on. It's a different look, plus they provide some nice nooks and crannies to stuff stowage (tarps, blankets, etc...)into, just like they probably would have in the...

    Tamiya 35(T)

Wow! Thanks for all the positive comments and feedback. (Blush). I apologize for not responding. I haven't checked this thread in some time. Didn't know about the action. The kit is a re-box of the CMK kit with a sprue added for the tools, figure, and Jerry cans. I think the only weak part of...

    Tamiya 35(T)

Jelly-man, Thanks for the generous complements. I consider myself a student of the paint art, and I know I'm not worthy. Just trying to apply the techniques that I am learning here. The base coat was a lightened mix of Tamiya German Grey. It then got a wash of thinned raw umber oil paint. It...

Spaceman Spiffs second coming >>>(Thanks to Prince of Styrene II)<<<

Great job! Very creative. It's nice to see Spiff back in the air. What a flashback to sitting around the breakfast table as a child, reading the comics in the morning newspaper. I'm currently sharing my old C & H books with my daughter (9 y.o.) Good times. Keep up the good work, Bill
