I know this may be a verboten subject, but...

I can understand having to shut the site down if one of the problem people was in fact the head moderator; someone with that kind of access can do an awful lot of damage if they get upset. Thankfully, no drama here! ;D

I know this may be a verboten subject, but...

...does anyone know what happened to the MCM board? I went to go check it a few minutes ago and saw it has been taken down, and on the FB page there is announcement that the board has been removed indefinitely and the comments suggest there was a flame war between two members or something...

Not for the faint of heart: 1961 Ford F-150 WIP

Sorry I haven't updated yet, still waiting on some substantial progress. The cab is taking a while to get the corners built up properly (tedious body work). The paint on the bed isn't stripping well for whatever reason; I think I'm going to switch it over to brake fluid and see how that goes...

Not for the faint of heart: 1961 Ford F-150 WIP

I guess its always a bit sacriligeous when someone cuts into an old, out-of-production kit, but sometimes it just needs to be done. I rationalize this to myself by the fact that the bed on this AMT F-100 unibody was hacked into long before I got it. The wheel wells were completely altered and...

    65 Galaxie for 66 Galaxie

Looking to trade one of these: For one of these: I have a still-in-bag 65 Galaxie and I'm looking to trade for a 66 in same condition. I'm looking to build my dad a replica of his 66 Galaxie that he had once upon a time. There are enough differences between the 65 and 66 that it wouldn't...

    Revell 1:39 Wright Brothers Flyer

I'm offering up for trade the above-mentioned kit. Its the 100th anniversary edition, date on box is 2005. Still sealed in factory shrink wrap. Acquired this kit in a lot from a local classified site. As for trade items, I build primarily automotive. Starting to dabble a bit in Star Trek...

    78 El Camino

I have another El Camino kit that I built back in the day that I nabbed the stock hood and grille from. After stretching the Monte's frame, the driveshaft obviously didn't fit. I cut the u-joints off, and cut some styrene rod to size... And voila! A made-to-fit driveshaft. Stay tuned for...

    78 El Camino

Trying to build a stock-looking G-body El Camino, combining these two kits: Would be nice if the El Camino was actually 1:24 like the box claims, but alas, its closer to 1:25 scale, which makes incorporating the Monte Carlo bits more difficult. After some hacking to remove the molded-in...
