Hi John, Thanks mate! The base and figures were given a coat of automotive primer from a rattle can. I now have a clear path to start adding color.

The base was given some ground cover using epoxy putty with a little sand sprinkled over it for texture. Then the figures and gate wall section were pressed into the groundwork. The wall and medic will be removed for painting, but the wounded GI is a permanent fixture now.

Yeah, you get some weathering on that bad boy and it will darken up a tad. Looks awesome John!

The down side is that if you want to do any weathering, they need to be sealed with some sort of clear coat, thus altering the shade somewhat.
