Sprues are individually wrapped except one has two. Decals are Cartograf. I also learned the csm has partnered with cartograf who does all their decals. They also have partnered with someone who makes wood props and someone else for resin kits so you can one stop shop and everything is much more reasonable.

Cool vehicle! Interesting how those long wheelbase armoured car designs carried right into early WW2.
So I decided to start it- for you guys. I wanted to see how fit and finish would be. Sprue attachments are on small side. Some of the parts don't have locating pins and there was very minor flash clean up, it was on a small detail part on the inside of the part. The detail seems excellent so far.
Yes and it seems designs were broader from ww1 as people tried to determine what worked coupled with the knowledge and technology they did have. As ww2 progresses designs begin to become more similar, although execution may have varied.
Engine painted. Need to varnish and weather slightly. I am doing Vienna Nov 1915 before the Army. Not a lot of info for interior, engine bay etc. kit provides details on painting the engine and the exterior. Sounds as if most period photos hint at interior being white. Having worked on a model T I'm pretty much an expert on these old vehicles (
) and from my experience in various classic car museums I'd guess black and white were predominant colors used for structure etc. any ideas I'm open to suggestions if you hurry.

I have no idea how these were painted IRL, but white is generally a safe bet, as it helps people see things in the dark interior of an armoured vehicle.
Yeah I'm going to go with an off-white, ivory color. It's a plausible color based on other vehicles.
