The best clear coat to use when applying decals is a GLOSS clear coat. That ensures the decals have a nice smooth surface to grab onto without trapping air bubbles underneath. The air bubbles cause silvering of the decals which makes them look less ‘real’ and out of scale. Then after the...

I like the stainless steel agitator so much that I bought a bunch of the Army Painter (?) ball bearings to add to my Vallejo paints to help distribute the pigment in the paints. I like the Vallejo Model Air paints a lot, although I find their grays - shall we say - a little finicky…

So smaller diameter is for thinner paint and smaller detail. And is it also at a lower PSI the smaller you get?

Looking good, BeebleBrox. Instead of stripping the paint, couldn’t you just dry brush a lighter color over the dark to bring up the brightness. I’d totally do that before stripping and starting again. But, I’m also lazy. LOL!
