The best clear coat to use when applying decals is a GLOSS clear coat. That ensures the decals have a nice smooth surface to grab onto without trapping air bubbles underneath. The air bubbles cause silvering of the decals which makes them look less ‘real’ and out of scale. Then after the...

So smaller diameter is for thinner paint and smaller detail. And is it also at a lower PSI the smaller you get?

Looking good, BeebleBrox. Instead of stripping the paint, couldn’t you just dry brush a lighter color over the dark to bring up the brightness. I’d totally do that before stripping and starting again. But, I’m also lazy. LOL!

Nice work on that little figure! Is that one of the Legion kits? Those are really fun. I never thought I would get into them, but have amassed a good number of them. What re you using for your pin wash? It flows really nicely.
