There is a cabinet in another corner with paint and other supply overruns. Kits are kept in another bedroom, the basement, atop that cabinet, and where my wife thinks she still keeps her scrapbooking stuff.

I did not realize that the "Vote for Fitsimmons" gag card was visible in that pic. Apologies for anyone offended by a Republican...or Democrat...or Independent...or whatever he was in the ficticious world in which he lived.

Just about ready to start building again. I still need to figure out where to put all my paint and tools.

Having been inspired by Tim, I have decided to completely rearrange my workspace.

I only have a small space in the end of a bedroom so need to get maximum use of every inch 🤔.

It's kinda a vision in my head at the moment so I will post some photos when it's starting to come together. Pantherman

I prefer the L shaped work station too. I'd love to convert the bedroom I'm using to a 100% hobby room but my wife barely tolerates my hobby as it is. I'm thinking in a couple years I may build a small Casita to use as a hobby room. Who knows.
My wife is also not a fan of my hobby. I'm often asked why don't I spend more time watching tv with her instead of playing with my plastic soldiers.........Pantherman

Truth be told I've been out of balance my first year doing this hobby.

And you are still married? I don't understand this. I've been married twice, and neither discouraged this hobby. Would she rather you were out boozing with friends, at the racetrack, or some other potentially destructive hobby—like watching TV?

That was my reply to my wife. I don't go to the bars after work, not in a bowling league etc. to be fair to my wife I have been out of balance - first year and I've done around 80 models. I just realized this yesterday and thought "Holy **** how did I do so many?" Haha. I am going to slow down, it's not worth a divorce and I do need to start going to the gym.

A styrene addiction is nothing to laugh about …

Most impressive!

The last time I looked (quite some time ago), there were a lot of commercial spray booths available, some of which looked well designed. I bought one over twenty years ago, was very disappointed, and wound up spending as much as it cost again to make it what it should have been. If I were to do it again, I'd just build one from sheet metal and angle stock.

Thanks. I think I have found one that will fit in front of my window with a top vent that I can just drop out.

The hardest part was finding one that would fit the space I have but still do the job.

I will post some finished photos as soon as I can get the last few items. Pantherman

I am almost happy with my new workspace. The new spray booth is brilliant, it's twin fan and 2 speed but really quite and the lighting is bright. Well worth the money, would certainly recommend it and the bonus is you can fold it all up and carry it away in less than a minute.

Anyway, some photos of the booth and area. Pantherman
