Just joined today and will take a look around.
I build mainly Armour, either open the box and throw the kit away or even open the box and then throw the kit away and then start to build the kit from the ground up. I do details and scratchbuilding/converting, not into 3D yet, but once I get into what I want from 3D and make it viable for the outlay£$ Then that will become another tool in my inventory.

He's gone, ohbejuan. He took offense to someone's post and announced very publicly that he was leaving the forum he just joined.

It's interesting to see someone do this. In another forum I belong to, a long-time member has done the same thing, he's taken offense and posted that he wants his account deleted. There's something a little narcissistic or childish about it. "I'm mad, so I'm quitting! Look at me! I'm quitting! Here I go! Don't try to stop me!" He could just silently stay away, but makes an attempt for attention.

... Rare indeed, but if required, there is an 'ignore' feature on here whereby I think the 'ignored' person's posts are not included in your notifications, and if you happen to come across a post, it is redacted!

Welcome! Anyone who jokes about throwing the kit away and building it from scratch is clearly operating on a different level. That BTM-3 is a fascinating subject and it sounds like you'll fit right in with the detail and scratchbuilding crowd here.

There was a Blackheep fan (Pappy Boyington's outfit) who deleted his account a while back too. Never figured out why.

I don't hardly ever take offense, I try to let things be "water off a ducks back." I will say this is the best forum I've ever been on. Some of the other forums I've had some pretty rude people make comments or argue with me. My reaction with that is to have fun with them. I had one guy bent out of shape because I primed some parts on the sprue! Haha. He kept coming back for more which made it more amusing to me!
