You can check out how I do mine, not original, but works for me!
Now where did I leave that compass that I had in 3rd grade?

Bookmarked your write-up, thanks!

Right now I'm thinking that printing some circles in various sizes to trace might be my best bet. Plenty of time, haven't even cut the wipers from the sprue or painted the frames at this stage. Just thinking ahead.

If you've going to print them, just measure the inner and outer radius for the blade portion of the wipers, then draw concentric circles with those radii. If you cut those out of the paper, you can glue them straight to the windshield with a small amount of PVA glue.

Edbert, one thing I discovered after: if you intent to place the M1 rifles in the racks, you need to do it before gluing the racks, as they do not fit through.

as they do not fit through.
!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can see it now, doh, too late for me, I guess I can be happy they're not painted yet. The racks or the rifles, but the siding/armor is, of course with the plan for another coat.

Although it might be too late for you, here's a nice color photo of the M2 and mount, but note it is not on the ring like the A3 had.

Another thing I'm thinking/worried about...

72 of these little tie-downs. I'm worried that if I put them on too soon I'll break them, but they have to be on before paint. Did you put them on for each step in the instructions?

No, I painted them separately and installing them now...
Did you try the rear panel? Does it fit?

It's on the mount by the rear door, more commonly used for an M1919A4. But this is a museum vehicle, so it says nothing about whether or not this was also done IRL.

As for the rifles: since you don't have the rear plate on yet, maybe you can angle them into the brackets from underneath?
