This has been a painful work in progress. Ended up picking a second kit up and starting all over so I'm doing it as box only because I'm ready to be done. I did make seat belts but that's all I plan on doing. My brother had this car and it will be a gift to him. I plan on making the first kit a beater since that's what he actually had! Haha.

Gloss coat on the body after a nice wet sand. Added plug wires and touched up some detail on the engine. Hopefully tomorrow it all comes together.

I'm getting there. Made some progress this morning. I'm going to sand and repaint the hood- not happy with it. Chrome the mirrors and scoop. Pretty happy with this and am learning more about building cars. For future builds I've ordered Proscale paints and am looking forward to seeing how their products fare. I'm really enjoying the car builds so much so that I'm looking at an aftermarket kit for a 67 Shelby that will cost about 5x what I paid for the kit! Never thought I'd do that but the amount of detail I see others putting into their kits is inspiring me to focus more on details. So thanks guys!

Wrapped this up this morning. Not sure what to do about the hood it doesn't want to lay flat and nothing is obstructing it. Overall pretty pleased with my build. I added spark plug wires, terminals on battery and battery cables, and seatbelts. Paint finish is not what I was shooting for but I feel like I'm improving and hitting more details with my builds. I'm supposed to send this to my brother but… Hope you guys like it!

Motor is almost done. Had to cut out transmission bracket, trim firewall and some of the internal engine bay to get the motor to fit. A little too long and tall at transmission. I thought about chipping off the top half of the transmission since it won't be seen but opted to keep this beautiful motor as one piece.

I really like the color as it came out. It's got a slight sheen to it more like a satin black which I think is really cool.

Looks great, I've also ran into the hood issue a time or two but most of the time the stance is with the hood open so not a big deal. I like it good job!

Nice job on the seat belts for the interior and she looks good in black Ron.

Interiors in black are always tricky as far as getting a good look with some depth, but it looks like you've got a good look goin' with those vinyl seats.

Looks good. I did the revell Bandit version in a group build. Thought it was a reasonable kit for the price. Pantherman
