I love the feel of these old Monogram kits, takes me right back. Claenup and assembly is my favorite part of the build, and this kit will certainly satisfy that.



Some warpage was to be expected, but an easy enough fix.



I've never built an old Indy car so I'm really looking forward to this: the subject is just so cool!

Lot's of detail painting to be done before assembly so I may be some time. Struggling with the gold, this is my second try as I removed the first attempt because it just looked lumpy. Still got a couple of thin coats to go but it's already looking better. Pantherman
