Acrylic v Lacquer

Any thoughts on what folks prefer more for airbrushing aircraft. Tamiya lacquer or acrylic?
I have only used the Tamiya acrylic and some model master enamels. I tend to weather with oil paint.

I have only used Tamiya acrylics. I have yet to airbrush with lacquer. I did just order some SMS lacquer so we'll see how that goes.
