Zenithal highlights

Here is my first try at zenithal highlights using an airbrush.....i had real problems spraying just a small area of the mini, if i lowered my PSI too far the paint started to splatter....if i raised it then i started to loose control and just painted the whole mini instead.



Not the best pics im afraid, any tips on how to improve this....its ok i guess for first try but its way short of the effect i was after.

For this scale of model, I would use a darker green than what you're going with. You've got a mid green with neon green highlights, which is hard to do, because the colors don't contrast that well. I'd try a darker green with a mix of the neon and mid green as the highlight, that way you get the nice two-tone color variation and highlighting.
