Alight,
I may be a little late again jumping on this band wagon, but I do have something to show.
I'm working on this one primarily straight out of the box with only minor accurizing and scratch building on my part.
I am adding lights and this will be the center piece for a proposed temporary diorama..Off with the pics..

And a couple of shots of the engine well details..(I don't know what to call these expose areas) But these still will get another layer of paint and weathering along the way.

So anyway,
This is what I have so far..I've been floored by the work of everyone else on this forum and anxious to see everyone's unique interpretation of one of the most famous ships in the sci-fi genre.

Greetings Addicts,
I have moved along slowly with this one. I have added a few more layers of detail in the paint, still working on the landing gear wells. I'm simply adding the hydraulic wires that hang from the wells and a light.

I'm not sure I mentioned this or not, but this will be the centerpiece of a smuggler's hangar bay dio. I found a couple of 1/72 scale Horten Go 229's to double as a pair of re-purposed Naboo fighters.
I haven't weathered this one yet, but I used a scheme similar to the N-1 for this one.

Nice detailing work.
And an excellent choice on the fighters. They fit right in

Hey Grendels,
I thought your latest video was great..good to see your mom make it to YouTube as well..I would love to have my mother on but she still kinda believes that the camera steals your soul.

But anyway, I digress.

I have made some progress...slowly but surely..it's happening. I finished the top side of the hull and was able to match the cut away part that I had painted a couple of months before. I'm still not looking forward to doing the lighting..it's not hard..it's just a chore and has become my least favorite chore next to puttying and sanding.
Anyhoo...Here we go..paint job!

Cool weathering, also the lighting really gives the inside parts a lot of life, makes it look like a real set

I don't know if Mom realizes how many people see the videos I make.....

Good work on this, I can tell you love to paint when I look at the photos....

That falc looks so good! The weathering is fantastic, and I really like the interior work and other deets.

Impressive painting skills my friend !!! Didn't know the AMT Falcon had it "STILL" !!!

very cool !

Keep up the good work !

Greetings to all Earthicans,

Well it has been quite some time since I've posted an update on this Behemoth. This has pretty much been on and off the bench, and things have gotten a little crazy since the birth of our child.
I've had limited time to work on this kit, but the goal is completion not perfection. Especially with this project. From the beginning I decided to try out these really bad LED strands and like a terrible dinner..they have really come back to haunt me throughout the project. Regardless, I made them work and pushed on through to finish this up.
This morning though, I looked around and discovered that my mother-in-law may have thrown away the cargo bay cover from the bottom of the Falcon over the week. But that's my fault for leaving something out...

Anyway, I'm about to stick the fork in this one and call it done so, here are the pics.

There are still just a few minor tweaks to the finish, but for the most part, I think I've gotten close enough to call this one finished. I'd like to thank everyone who took a look at my work and left a great comment.

An amazing build....I'm having enough to think about just doing the outside of the ship!! Weathering & lighting really first class!!

Congrats on your other project....a 1:1 person,...nice work!
