This actual project is simple (or so it seems) : use some old AMT ERTL Star Wars model kits, some fairly bitten (a lot of them were given by friends), to build dioramas of jakku's wreckages, the very same you can watch in the second Star Wars trailer.

Here are pictures of what awaits you on this WIP about the Star Destroyer. It's the most challenging model kit so far, concerning this project. It's still a work in progress... :)

Soon enough, the very first steps... Stay tune :)

Thanks.

If you don't wanna wait (upload with photobucket is time consuming) here is a FB link :)

Sorry, the comments are in french.

Thanks... I enhanced it, and add a lot of tiny details here and there.

The diorama is done. The pictures are coming as soon as possible :)

Another crashed star destroyer! I like your battle damage. Very nice so far. Looking forward to the finished pic uploads.

You have quite the little theme going here with all your Jakku wreckage builds.

Doing it wit old MPC kits is the real goal here. Some of the kits I'm using have seen a lot, were broken, incomplete... Building them as wreckage is a good way to enhance them.

Sorry, another teaser, if the picture link works (FB). That's my current progress here...

The beginning of the WIP by monday, it's a promise :)

Thanks... Working on it is not easy with the heat this past few days. So I manage to work on the diorama itself, and the other projects, using PVA glue, KLIR, and thin sand to recreate the Jakku desert.

If not instantaneous, it was pretty quick to dry...

Pictures soon :)
