"What a piece of junk" 1/72 FM M.F.

I agree about the yellow looking a little 'too' bright.
The rest of it is looking VERY sharp, though

Yes the red and Yellow on the top are bright as I had just finished painting them at the time the photo was taken. Still more weathering to the top. The following images show the masking and painting of the Interior Green Landing Gear bays and the Alclad Base Black to the "flaps" around the engine bay. Over this black will go a chrome silver then a Hot Metal Blue.
It will take several days for the black to cure as it is a Lacquer base.

Wow! This paint job is absolutely top notch! I'm really looking forward to seeing the alclad results. I picked some up for this (and other) project(s), but I haven't played with it yet. The 1/72 FM MF really does look quite nice. If I ever build another, that'll be the kit, along with the photoetch upgrades. Of course that's up near a car payment in cost! *cringe*
