I have been on a long hunt for battle ship Texas (without breaking the bank). I find many Pearl Harbor ship, but not BB35. Any suggestions?
I'm in the Houston! Area.

There is a Trumpeter 1/350 BB35 on Amazon right now for $96 free shipping

I know the shipping cost plus a little extra is baked into that price, but considering retail is around $60 that is not too bad

Then there is this 1/700 one for $49 but you will have to pay shipping although should be less than the Amazon total depending where it ships from

However, it is also a much smaller model and makes the Amazon deal for the 1/350 look better

Thanks blakeh1. I'll check those out. I agree the 1/350 would be a nicer build.
Thanks again.

Freetime Hobbies has the Trumpeter kit, too, though the prices before shipping are higher than other examples cited earlier in this thread.

I recommend FH in any case. I have always had good service from them.
Thanks Baron. I've look around and was unable to find the 'ol girl.
We live about an hour away where she is now in dry-dock.
I've toured her twice many, many years ago.
Thanks again, I'll check out fth.
