I'll be adding pieces from the ParaGrafix photoetch set as well as their bridge module

Also using the lighting kit from Polar Lights

Saving myself a ton of masking by using the Polar Lights aztec decal sheets

For my light blocking, I gave the parts two coats of black, followed by a coat of silver

Based on instructions from ParaGrafix, I used a torch to anneal the etch so that it will form to the shapes of the ship more easily

Rather than using the red domes from the light kit, I'm opting to paint the clear kit domes with a combination of clear red and clear amber

For the nacelle end caps, I went with two coats of black, followed by gunmetal. I would later add another coat of black followed by Citadel's "Leadbelcher."

I masked the area of the landing deck where the stripes would be, and then painted most of the rest with coats of black, followed by Leadbelcher

For the bridge, I gave the whole upper surface a coat of black, followed by grey.
The rails and nav console were picked out by hand in red. This was followed by a black wash.
With that dry, I then used an exacto knife to scratch the paint off the screens

Glued in the kit windows with PVA glue to avoid fogging them

I used superglue to cement the bridge in place

Installed the electronics in both nacelles per the instructions. I used superglue to hold the lights in place

After threading the wires through the strut mounting holes, I closed up the nacelles

Very carefully threaded the wiring down the struts and glued them together.
Tolerances in here are very tight

I have this kit. Need to get the decals and photo-etch.
Your’s turned out very nice Q!
:cool::cool::)

Thanks, folks.
Trekriffic, I definitely recommend the decals as they save a TON of masking for the aztecs
