I have tried their chrome paint, the brush on, and the airbrush formula.  I think that is the only paint they sell that is NOT acrylic.

You don't need to thin the chrome paint. The airbrush version is already thinned. And honestly, the brush on stuff is thin enough as well. I honestly don't know what the difference is except maybe the brush on paint dries slower so you have time to brush it on.
