Trumpeter E10 tank destroyer

Thanks jmac, i airbrushed the main colour and then hand painted the dots using thin airbrush paint.
The pattern is just from my imagination, i looked at pictures of trees from above and tried to give the impression with dots.
I have had a few ideas in mind and thought i would pick one and see how it turned out!
It was actually a lot of fun to paint, i never fully trust masks as ive had paint pull off and bleed under and all sorts. it was nice to be able to see it come together.

Hi Guys

Latest update, been doing loads of little things.

I added all the tools, painted up the tracks, added the side skirts, did a panel line wash with oils, shaded the whole tank with brown oils and added some chipping when dry!

Also did plenty of work on the base, painted in the broken render, did some streaking with acrylics, dusted the brickwork with pigments, painted the door & shutters and made a start with balsa on the roof beams!

Hi again, couldn't resist posting the work I did last night & tonight, quite satisfying.

I cut roof braces from balsa and stuck them on yesterday

And then airbrushed some card from a kit box both sides with various brown shades, marked out the tile sizes and cut them out (tedious!)

I then stuck the tiles to the braces with white glue, making sure to show some damage so the tank can be seen through
