does anyone know a thinner for tamyia then, but that doesn't eat plastic

You want to take Tamiya X-Thin cement and make it thinner? It is already the consistency of water, not sure how much more thinner you could make it.

I'm thinking he means to unset the glue, to remove parts glued incorrectly?

*like acetone for CA etc.

yes sorry I meant how to remove the cement, I glued the wrong prop pieces and I need to remove the glue

Well plastic cement works by melting the plastic together could be a tough fix. You may just have to cut the part off and repair the damage.

As strange as it may sound...use the same cement to debond it, provided it hasn't set up on the parts for long.

Tamiya X-thin will loosen it's own welds up. Mineral spirits will do the same.
