In 1967 one of the greatest movies ever was released. "The Dirty Dozen". If the movie was re-made ..................... who would be the top pick to play the part of the "major".

Well, when L. Marvin played Maj. Reisman in the “Dozen”, he was 43 years old…

OK… he was a medium-tall, lean man… with a “hard expression” face. Not a pretty face.

After thinking a while… and not thinking in that cult movie as a today pure-Hollywood action remake that would require a “muscular body” and a nice/cool guy face…

… definitely I would go for Daniel Day Lewis: same age (43 â€" 44 YO), lean body, hard faced, not-joking boy look, no nice/cool guy face…

hmm ... interesting.

firstly great movie - I can only hope they leave it the way it was, but seeing how everything old is new after a remake, then its only a matter of time .....

I'd like to see Daniel Craig or the guy who played Major Richard Winters from the series Band of Brothers
